[Pig Popper]

hi all, I would like to promote aWORKINGpig Beta Testing SERVER & FORUM - I hope this is ok by you all..



Background:
This server has been running for almost a year and was set up soley to test beta maps.
There is NOW a corresponding forum available for people to post submissions and to recieve feedback on the maps.
The majority of the maps on there are still mine but we have had submissions from some talented and not so talented mappers, so long at the map is playable you are welcome to some server time.

Oppurtunity
The server is yours, if you are a new mapper looking for somewhere to host/playtest your map
or an old hand wanting an alternative location and feedback oppurtunities
I think we all know players are the ones that make maps good.
Its easy to use to, simply sign up HERE and make a post in the submission section.

The Rules:

1. You must start a feedback post in the forum
2. Whist in beta format you must add a game_text (prefab) which displays a redirect to the forum thread
3. There is a No Leak Policy - ( I will help out here if I can)

Testing:
Submitted maps are placed on daily rotation.
We also have a steam community group and schedual events for the 1000+
strong members where new beta's are given sole use of the server.

Hopes
I am hoping to build a small community of mappers and players that will help inform each other about how good maps can and should be made and also attract and encourage server admins to make use of the finalized maps.



Well, there you have it people. I hope to see some new faces on the forum helping us mapper to craft and form new maps and in the server, finding those bugs and adding those small tweaks that every map needs.

Sounds like a really good idea mate, I know mappers struggle to get Servers to test there maps properly or even get the players together to do the test on them, there are also quite a few mappers in our community so no doubt they will find it useful.
