I don't know how you can even play without them! I suppose you get used to it. I made my own which is a bit bulky looking (pictured below) but I designed it to aid in my awful aiming especially with the X-bow - the curved parts help with leading and they also make it easy to line up for headshots with the .357.

I use the design dot 2 crosshair, the one I used earlier was too big for far shots. at the bullseye website you can learn how to make your own as well. you just need a font editor, I used the linked one and it looked easy. but just watch out to make it centered.

Eh - what is default?

I've five dots and I've never liked them - keep disappearing against light coloured surfaces. I presume they're default?

You can change the color though it has been proven by the army that green is the best color the naked eye responds to.

there are 3 things that make a good crosshair:
-good visibility of it and not blocking much view
-small enough for far shots
-useful design

I hate that health and ammo meter.
I converted mine so the left meter shows me how much soda is left in my glass and the right meter monitors my remaining amount of sanity Shocked

sorry diet it must be a duff one or something went wrong m8. If you would like to have the dot cross hair that i use either pm me your email address or tell me how to put it up in here for you to down load and ill send it to you Embarassed Embarassed

Ps the dot one that i use has been corected slightly as the bulls eye one was about 4 or 5 pixels off aim if i remember corectly. this one also comes with inst on how to put it in. I do have a couple of other ones as well if you dont like the dot.

To get rid of the info brackets you type in console hud_quickinfo 0 or put it in your cfg file
hope this helps

Very Happy Very Happy

There is a roumour that the Bullseye crosshairs are off centre.

I use a White Dot which was made by Team Cyn.

I attach the file containing the crosshairs and also the instructions on how to install them.

Forgot to post here that I did figure it out in the end, My legendary incompetence had me changing the wrong file (halflife.ttf instead of hl2dm.ttf).

My new crosshair has made me invincible - unfortunately nobody is respecting my new invincible status and are killing me more than ever.
