I can't figure out how to use proxies
I'm having trouble registering on a few sites I need because my IP somehow ended up on a spam list. After reading online, people suggest using a proxy to get around it. I found a website that provides proxies, but now I'm stuck on how to actually set them up in my browser. I can't figure out where the settings are. I'm just using regular Chrome.
You need to dig through your browser settings more carefully. Chances are you overlooked something and that's why it's not showing up. Keep in mind it can vary based on which operating system you're running. Take Windows 11 for instance - from what I recall, you actually configure the proxy through the system settings rather than directly in the browser. I'd suggest checking out the guide on how to use a proxy server in your browser at https://gologin.com/blog/how-to-use-a-proxy-server/ . The tutorial includes video demonstrations that should clear things up and help you locate where everything needs to go.
