Subject description: Memory Cannot be 'Read' error

Every time I try to connect to a TSGK server, the game will crash within seconds with a 'Memory Cannot be Read' error. Don't know what's causing it, but only appears to happen on a TSGK server.

I've already tried purging the downloads and cache folder to no avail.

Very strange... probably I speak nonsense but If nothing helps try to reinstall Steam and HL2DM completely.I do so if I collide with a fatal and not explainable problem Or u should try beta updating steam client
By the way Im sure that you will not forget to keep files cfg in other seat before reinstallation fella )

If its just TSGK servers then you are lucky. I crash every time I launch the first DM map. I have been trying to figure it out and I have tried absolutely everything. Its ok after the first map.
It does not happen on my computer when the granchildren are playing on their account.
It was still happening when I set up my account on my second computer so it has to be someting to do with my client profile.
It just started happening about 6 months ago after a major update.
A minor irritation.

a complete steam reinstall could help, usually easier than trying to find the error as those are usually too unique to have a known solution.

Yeah fresh steam install might do the trick.
