HSLW Console or ingame console?
If ingame console have you typed plugin_print or rcon plugin_print
If you typed plugin_print without rcon, then you polled yourself and not the server.

This was not about KP Sounds plugin but about the CVAR sv_master_legacy_mode, KP Sound plugin doesn't not affect the server to be listed at all.

Ok this makes absolutely no sense but I tried installing the keepers on my windows server, the first time I installed it without reading instructions duh, the keepers worked with headshot announcement & sound but when I tried to change map the server restarts to default map and cannot change the map at all, after this I read the instructiions, removed everything for VSP install, restarted server and now the hedshots announcement and sound do not work? So I deleted everything for the VSP install and did the sourcemod install, restarted server and guess what, same thing, the headshot announcement and sound do not work, just to verify I installed keepers both ways on the server again and tried it out and again the headshots announcement and sound works!!!! But alas the server does not like both ways if map is changed server restarts and goes back to default map for server!!! HELP!! What am I doing wrong??

Can you upload your keeper_sounds.cfg and keeper_streaks.txt.
Also, are you using the lastest version 2.0.4.

And yes I am using the only version I could download which is 2.04 I tried to download and try version 2.02 just to see if that would work but when I clicked on the link for it it still gave me 2.04.

Hello!

One function that still will not work for me is the "joinserver" sound.

I have not changed any of my sound file locations since the OB update.

I have the .wav file shown below in: /hl2dm/8.6.8.197:27015/orangebox/hl2mp/sound/keeper

All the other "custom" sounds play fine, i.e. Jhad and Humiliation that are run from within the keeper_streaks.txt file

Here is the entry I have in the keeper_sounds.cfg file:

//****************************************************************************
kp_joinserver_sound_file "keeper/teleport.wav"

Does anyone have any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Have you tryed using another sound file which is currently assigned to another action and does play.
If then it is working, this could be your sound file for exemple.

I am running the following on my server:
Mani Admin Plugin Version 1.2V
MetaMod Source V1.8.3
SourceMod V1.3.4
EventScripts V2.1.1.338
With EventScripts I am running a player Say cfg file where a sound is played when player types certain words in chat & a gameme plugin for my premiunm stats, that is it.

Your joinserver sound(s) work fine for me
The teleport.wav and admin_plugin/actions/joinserver2

If you are using sv_pure make sure that the path is allowed from the disk in pure_server_whitelist.txt.

A new version is up.

Change / Additions for v2.05:

- Updated plugin to prevent double loading.
- Added console spam if loaded as VSP under SMM.
- Added auto switch to SMM if SMM is present upon loading.

Keeper's Streak Sounds Plugin v2.05 can be downloaded at:

OK, I am kind of embarrassed to say this but I may have misinterpreted the purpose of this command line:

kp_joinserver_sound_file "keeper/teleport.wav"

What is not working any longer on my servers is the sound that plays to ALL players while in the server when a new player enters. This sound that used to play the "teleport.wav" before the OB change was very functional as it alerted players in the middle of a fire fight that a new player has joined the game. This way, we all could say hello to the new player entering.

I am now starting to believe that the command line above is a duplicate of the Mani "joinserver" function and is not what I had hope it was?

Is this true? The strange thing is that I had that "teleport.wav" sound playing to all active players in the server when a new player entered before the OB change

So, which is it? Is this command line only for playing a sound TO the individual player entering the server upon entry and map change? If it is, does anyone know where that other sound and function I am describing might be supported?

The join sound mode has been changed a long time before the plugin goes to OB version, and has been restricted for player joining the server only, if you used the CFG generator, you could see that the Join Server announcement is having 2 options only.

Anyway, Keeper will be adding the option back at the further releases.

Change / Additions for v2.1.0:

Webhost changed DNS server IP and then the DNS server went down. Things should be 100% by tomorrow as all caches get cleaned out.
