XP has a Ram limit, Windows 7 has DX 11.
So if you want a PC for gaming I would say Windows 7. Smile

Good choice, as long as your system can handle 7 it is damn good.

Might take some getting used to.

Win 7.

Just upgraded from Win XP myself; feels odd at first but its a great OS.

XP is nine years old, time to retire.

XP has a Ram limit,

Windows XP32 bit has an approximate memory limitation of 4gb.
Windows 7 32 bit has an approximate memory limitation of 4gb.
(This also includes you video memory.)
In order to exceed this limit you have to migrate a 64 bit operating system. Xp is avaliable in 64 bit as is Windows 7.

There will be millions of XP users for many years to come but the simple
fact is Microsoft will stop supporting XP very shortly. If for no other reason, that is why Windows 7 is the only choice.

My teacher had vista on his laptop for along time and then got windows 7 on the day it came out.
He said "my laptop speed is alot faster running windows 7 then it did running Vista"

I know several people who have had exactly the same experience matey; Vista is from what I can tell far more of a hog on hardware resources.
