Some of you know I play guitar and had fortunately accomplished more doing that than I thought I might when I dreamed as a wee lad...

Anyway, I wrote a song that was very 'Megadeth-like' (I was very into them and sound like Dave Mustaine, coincidentally from a guitar and vocal style point of view) about 4 years ago and recorded it. It is the story of a terminator like technological 'wonder' (aka cybernetic organism - perfect soldier) that once self aware, decides it doesn't 'need' its creator(s) aka, HUMANS...

Some folks have said it could be a great 'soundtrack' for a comic book like video/animation, so if it evokes those images mentally, I've done my job as a musician!

Very good, it does remember me Megadeth a lot indeed. Nice.

And considering the guitar, I have to admit that you seem more than very skilled !

Standout parts are the vocal harmony's in the chorus and the guitar solo. the chorus is catchy too.

I'm not a fan of the talking over singing. This is even further due to that I tend to listen to the sounds/music over the lyrics.

I thought the drums were very repetitive and seemed to fit the chorus more ... but left the versus a little boring.

maybe it's the headphones I'm using but I couldn't hear any bass really.. unless it is just mirroring the guitar but an octave down.

The quality of the recording is really good and the quality of the sound of the vocals/drums/guitar are at a professional studio level quality.

im using Ableton Live @ the moment for DnB and Dance producing, anyways back on topic sounds very rocky and I see what you mean by the Megasdeath connection xD I suggest you keep the work up

That's very good. As a guitar player, the main riff had some interest, the solo was competent and the whole vibe is good. The riffing shifts enough to keep interest.
I must say it needs production work. The drums are flat and the bass doesn't pump up the tune, but this is quibbling, as you probably don't have a million dollars worth of equipment.
So, as a demo, it is very good.
And very Mega Death.
Good tune.
I enjoyed it.
I also wish i could have added a second guitar track (atmospherics and backing rhythm)and harmony lead at the end!

I'm glad you guys dug it.
Stoned, I actually used Cool Edit Pro (cheap) to do most of the editing, mixing, etc.
The drums were pretty lame and honestly, this was just a real rough demo for my own enjoyment and written like 'Psychotron' by Megadeth. Very 'linear' as Freeman mentioned as to evoke images of a mechanical entity moving and killing as it goes without remorse.

I don't have a million bucks of equip for sure LOL but I've recorded professionally before with a metal act.
