- we can gracefully ignore the deaths and
- they played only a fraction of the time i played in this round

the german version is bugged though, you can´t use custom sprays. so I just set it to english and it works fine.

I never thought I would ever post in this section of the forum and I am only
going to post here because I don't want to gloat.

Some of you might have noticed that I have not been playing TSGK server
much lately and the picture below will explain why.

Thanks to the TSGK members who visited KC server 1 and lent me some of
the points. Realistically this is as far as it is possible for me to get with my
playing ability.

Raf will take his spot back and GTAMIKE will overtake me along with all the
rest of the better player who are trailing at the moment. I will then fade back
into obscurity.

Thanks also to those who helped and encouraged an old duffer like me - you know who you are. Very Happy

as Kc points are continious (its impossible for you to lose points..) all you have to do to reach the top is play for insanely long periods of time on Kc servers.. so you could keep your place Rolling Eyes

Yes we all know how the KC scoring system works. The first 150k comes quite easy but after that you need to play and kill players of the same or better ability in order to progress. Otherwise you grind to a halt. That is when the playing time becomes disproportionately large in relation to the points.

You may not be able you make out the playing times from the picture mine is 8 days 14 hours for 300k: nade took 13 days 6hours for 481k and GTAMIKE has only taken 2 days 2 hours for 273k. (most of them from me Laughing

) Also remember, it is not the map played but the points system we are talking about.

In addition to that, you become a target for every new player wanting a quick
100 points. My combine suit looks like a cheese grater. Laughing

It is not seriously competitive and a fun place to play. I encourages young
players to continue playing when the see their score go up.

Since the beginning of June 3000 around new players are now recording stats on the KC servers. That has to be healthy. Very Happy

It was a fun to see how far I could get without it becoming obsessive.

That is what the thread is about. Some of you take it far too seriously. Very Happy

I used a camera because by the time I figure out how to get a screen shot,
the tiny points margin could have gone. I actually achieved 4th last night,
and lost it and had to play for it back again. The actual jpeg is 5m pixels
using macro focus (hence the distortion). By the time I had clipped the
image to fit the page the quality was lost.

you just have to press the "print" button on your keyboard, go into an imagetool like irfanview (I don´t recommend paint, it has a bad quality setting) and paste it. optionally cut out the right place and paste it, then save it to jpeg, but don´t set the quality too low, I use 90 mostly.
