Good evening gentleman.

My hard-drive overheated, because of my power supply malfuntion, and the warranty lasts till 2009, and my bro sended it to madrid in spain to get a new one (Hopefully)

as for my upgrade heres what i was thinking..

Currently:

AMD Athlon 1700+ (works at 1400+)
256MB of RAM, SDRAM
GF6200 256MB DDR2

What im going to hopefuly get this month:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
RAM: 1GB Kingston DDR2 (2x 512)
NEW: GeForce 7600GS 512mb

plus new board, yadda yadda yadda.

best model avaible as soon as it gets released

your AMD has a very high frequency i've a 4600+ dual core, 512Mo*2 (DDR2 667 Mhz) but 7500 LE but i don't lag at all only when there is lot of people on server but it's by players's ping....

AMD doesn't define FPS but graphic card does...
If you have a 7500 LE you can have 30 to 90 fps
ask to people who have recent graph.card

i used to have a GeForce 2, when i bought the 6200, there was a 3 fps diference

unless you set the settings higher, which looks a lot better than the lowest low you are using.

Even after the upgrade im going to keep my settings

640x400
Everything low
-dxlevel 7
no bllom, no Filtering.

Im going however put Anti-Aliasing to medium settings, that will be all.

Perfomance, not quality Wink

EDIT: plus im getting a 7600GS
