the forum and the symbols on the main page are taking a lot longer to load lately. the main page is not really a problem but the forum is way too slow. does anyone else have this problem?

Nope, its fast as usual for me. Most sites get created in less then 0.5 seconds.

This forum works fast for me .
The stats site is slow but its doing loads maybe you mean the stats page .

then there is some problem on the way from my pc to the server. I also have pings of over 200 on some european severs where friends of me can play with normal ping. should I contact my isp about this?

Yes ring your ISP then tell us what happend I changed ISP and my ping went from 25 to 45 .

Telekom will be the first address because it is a technical issue and they are responable for the technical side. Your provider only acts as re-seller and would need to refer to Telekom also to sort anything technical.

As long they dont have a own infrastructure they only forward your problem to Telekom and hope for the best.

I had a period of having 120 + ping on any server I went on about 6 months ago, and it lasted about 2 weeks. I complained my knackers off to my dad who then changed ISP and everything was 1337 fast again, so yer, probably your isp, you not on a wireless network are you?

I know it's off topic but it's not really worth a new thread... I'm going to be spending less time on TSGK servers.

Essentially (I think) my ISP was bought by some other company and appear to be routing a lot of their traffic from Ireland to the UK (and elsewhere) through the Netherlands. Rolling Eyes

Well that what a tracert tells me.

Whereas once I had a ping of 10 on Server 1 now I have 100+ on most TSGK servers... except those near / in the Netherlands like XI.

So, my beloved Server 1 and I have ended our affair and I'll be hanging around XI (at least it has my fav maps). I'll also be hanging out on other non-TSGK servers with low ping.

Anyway, in case you think I'm avoiding gg on server 1, I'm not. If you see me on XI, please join as sometimes it's lonely there.

Maybe I'l get yet another ISP in time but my motivation is low. Crying or Very sad
