CS:Source meets HL2:DM (Possible)? |

Would it possible to MOD enough of the CS:Source options (SV_Grav etc), to make it feel similar to the movement in HL2:DM. I think that would be really cool lol, and also give me Half a chance to own on CS:S. It feels so restrictive the movement in CS:S and thats my only problem with the game. Any thoughts or am I just rambing on?

you will have a huge problem with weapons and aiming. The aim is affected with movement. If you moved Hl2 dm style in CS:S I doubt you will ever hit anything. If you tweak the aiming system, then you might have a change, rofl then it would be a mod for a mod. Pretty sweet. I dunno CS:S still is a mod in my point of view

Oh yea I amde the sv_recoil bit up b4 anyone trys to correct me, I dunno what the setting is for Weapon recoil.

And I know im spamming my own thread here, but Y does CS:S have 10,000 servers if its only a MOD and HL2 only 1000 at best, wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh its no fair, I want HL2:DM to have more players

beeing able to control the recoil freely is one of the steps to be pro!
And i have an idea for a mod:
A mix betwen HL2DM and CS 1.6
Buying AR2, RPG (for high prices of course) etc, and play on somewhere
see my idea? but if everyone had a grav gun there would be a big disavantage
BUT I HAVE ANOTHER IDEA: isntead of picking up the grav gun, only beeing able to use primary fire and Not beeing able to pick it up!
WOAH!

There is not a lot of physics in cs, so grav gun is useless .
Nice idea, me too i think cs is too restrictive for movements, but i can't help you lol .

I agree completely (Apart from the DE replacing the Pistol, and mayb adding the Sig 551 as a new weapon )

haha or smoke grenades, so all you c is the glow of the stunstick coming towards you, but never knowing who caned you

You spawn Randomly in the map. You pick your weapons at start but can change your guns at anytime. As soon as you die you respawn again. They still have teams. Its madness but fun

Sry was a bit brief last night, you know the way hic!!
Well, ok sort the the logistics out and what do you have?
Take the weapons from one to the other and what are you doing
Playing the same game on a different map
Unless you restrict each team/player to the game rules of their game, you end up playing the same game..
