I was just wondering why the Dr, being a time lord, didn't just travel back in time to do away with the creator of the first Dalek... or any of his arch enemies for that matter.

I dont watch Dr Who, so realise this may have been explained at some point, but it does seem a bit obvious, that would be the solution to his problems. (Apart from being unemployed since there would be no Dr Who series Very Happy

)

Iwas borne in truro CORNWALL but I have lived in PLYMOUTH DEVON most of my life. and if you realy want to get pedantic my dad was born in liverpool and my mum was borne in blackpoole so im from nowhere in particular hehe. Rolling Eyes

As for Dr who this was explained in some distant episode but im not sure of which one. I will see if i can find out for sure and post it to help relieve some of your boardom Laughing

There is an episode where the Doctor goes back in time to the home planet of the dalecs to destroy them once and for all.

But when it comes down to it and he has th two wires in his hands to set off the bomb he realises that if he was to kill them all he would be as evil as the dalecs so decides that he couldn't have the wiping out of an entire race on his conscience .. Wink

Tom Baker was my Doctor Who - you know what I mean? - Sure I saw the others after him until I was too old to care, but he was / is the persona that I think of as Doctor Who.
