Was playing yesterday and saw someone write,
"jeez how many people are hunting me...lol"
got me thinking.

if you're playing and not on top of the scoreboard, do you actively seek the top player?

or do you just frag who ever gets in your way

or just there to have fun and don't even hit tab to check the scores?

Rarely tap Tab to check score during a game, except when in a clan fight

Each time i die, i check the scoreboard. Why ? not to check my score or to see if eventually im first ... but to see who is good or who is bad in order to make priority kills in a melee : i shoot first the good one and after the less skilled. When i play with players i know, i don't check the score only at end of the game.

I sometimes do this, usually I figure the person at the top is the most skilled, therefor will be the greatest challenge to take out. I try not to do this though as it usually affects my gameplay

if someone constantly kills me then i go into vengeful mode and kill them
sometimes people don't like to get meleed so i pick on them the most
but i do love sticking people

my answer is yes i check the score as Cynyx pointed out same deal with me

The fun part for me is the race to the finish. I check the scores constantly and find myself playing better if I'm behind. If I don't come in first, then it's no big deal.

I don't go out of my way to kill anybody except campers. I'll throw away first place and ruin my kpd to hunt down a camper.

I'm with shimmy; if someone kills me in a cheesy way, im gonna stick them, but generally, i kill anything that moves. The more I check my score, the worse it gets, so i unmapped the key.

I'll kill anyone, but mainly 'cos the arthritis makes aiming weapons difficult. Oildrum physics are my friend there. Just fly around killroofz chucking stuff.

However, anyone in the top 100 gets special attention!

I check the score often to see who is gaining kills faster or dying more and capitalise on players weak areas, avoid players who are killing me lots unless i can find a method of killing them more effectively.

I just go for any one i see cause otherwise i usualy cop it first lol

I do usualy keep a check on the score though to make sure that my kpd is not to low. I try to always keep my match or session kpd over what my overall kpd is..

ZOMG DAVROS IS A BEAST! He Got me more than i wanted yesterday, but i think its safe to say that i wasn't being hunted by anyone except myself. I always kill me when im at low health.

I do headys most to less skilled cuz thay move slower
Zipo is Unheadshotable but i did one when he was falling
I dont hunt The first person in the lead I just kill to be in top 3
but EWERYONE wants to be first so asking that have no point
Everyone will lie htay dont want to be first thay want to have fun only
Thay have fun from Funny kills and Getting First
But most of the Fun stuff .

go to say unless there are only a couple of players on the map, i just kill anything that moves, you would just die too quickly hunting people with more than a few people....................

I check it sometimes, to se how many pro's and how many noobs are playing, rather that let it be a surprise

like, i make priority's, noobs come first, then when im done, ill try to kill the better ones

score is meaningless! i saw a RPG camper doing 40 - 0, and only with rpg

after that i started trwoing Gnades to his tent ^^'

Yeah, I hunt campers. I was told as a young CS player, "If I see you camping (not moving for more than 3 seconds), I will beat you to a bloody pulp with my shoe!"

I'd rather suicide than give someone 100 points for killing me with the SMG.

The odd thing is, RARELY someone gets 100 points with SMG, unless the point modifier sucks, and the guy that killed has less than 50 points :/\

one time, everytime i was low health and being attacked i suicided, aparently the system of the servers doesnt recognize it as a death, so i killed one more guy, and i made a Holey Shiat -.-
