Where to find unusual wedding rings in the UK?
My fiancée has decided that choosing the wedding rings is my job. She’s dealing with half the other wedding arrangements, so apparently this is my contribution and I’m not allowed to hand it back. That would be fine if she liked plain bands and simple jewellery, but she’s really into designer pieces and usually notices details I wouldn’t even think about. I don’t want to turn up with something that looks like every other ring in the window. How would you choose a wedding ring for someone with that kind of taste, and where in the UK would you start looking?
I’d avoid trying to impress her with the biggest stone or the most complicated design, because designer jewellery doesn’t have to shout for attention. A slightly unusual band shape, an interesting setting, mixed finishes or a less common stone cut can make a ring feel much more individual. It’s also worth thinking about how it will sit next to the engagement ring, because two great rings can still look awkward together. I’d narrow it down to three or four styles first and then choose from there.
You’ve got one advantage here, she’s probably dropped plenty of clues over time without even realising it. Think about the jewellery she stops to comment on, the designers she follows, or the pieces she sends you when she sees something she likes. That should give you a better steer before you start spending wedding-ring money. There are more designs to browse here https://pierrejewellery.uk/ . Go through them with those little clues in mind and you’ll have a much better chance of landing on something that actually feels like her. Then the choice becomes less about guessing and more about recognising the right one.
