Hello duders...
Here is my situation:- Had to leave my gaming pc back home,so am running a laptop now. 1.6 GHz centrino 512 mb ram and an ati 9200 32mb AGP 4x card.

So far I run everything on low at 1280 x 800 in 16:10 ratio widescreen format. On most maps I'd get around 35-40 fps average in outdoor areas with no water. With water it would dip down to mid 20s.

I've been looking on the net for graphic tweaks.
so far found mat_fastspecular 0 and mat_bumpmap 0
My question is:- I am seeking the knowledge of the gaming community for
any commands that do not require sv_cheats 1 I could input inorder to squeeze every last bit of fps out of my very high end graphic card Very Happy

Thank you duders and Merry Christmas to all

Shimmy

im a tweaKING!

first of all put textures on LOW, since thats a DX7 level card, it sucks

then put your resolution to 800x600 or 640x400

they give you shitload of fps

the only thing that could not lower your fps is Anti-aliasing, you can force it too 4x if you want

keep mixing up these settings untill you find one betwen Perfomance and Quality
