yeah any sighting of him logged here or on our forum would be much appreciated, we take this quite seriously coz they hold our reputation in their hands when they use the KC. Its amazing to think they actually gain pleasure out of this. Dont be horrible to them tho if you see them, just let one of us know, and we care of it, thank you so much. This Missusing from Clan Tags is really a course... Confused

They should just be banned away from all known and popular Clan Servers and being deleted manual out of the Stats asap.

Maybe we think about a kind of FFL-Ban-List where every involved Clan can report about Players that behaved on some Server like Ill-Spirit Apes.

Some Guys seemable only connect to offend and disturb. In Past they doesnt gave a s**t to be banned away from single Servers. But if they would get banned from all 40 or 50 FFL Servers (maybe more who use) they surely would be very surprised and maybe change mind with time.

As soon the Public know about, that a Ban from AgC, TSGK or eXs would mean a ban from all other FFL Servers automatic they would think about their behavior surely more... Wink

If the Clan Leaders all would have a look once per Week into this Ban-Topic and add them to their Server Bans we would have a kind of "little" Steam Bans. As much Clans and Serverowners would take part, as more effective it would protect us (and hurt this "deluxe Apes") all. Very Happy

There are many Apes with Internet Access out there and some seemable connect directly from a Psycho Hostital...

They shouldnt use/block Slots on any friendly Clan Server and we could easy work together in this with a Kind of Overall Bannlist. I see no reason to let someone playing on my Servers who got a Ban on AgC, KC or any other Clan earlier. Less Chances that he is going to behave on our Servers then also and mostly they only come to work on their Ban and not KD-Ratio.

This won't surprise Danny but...

I'm against banning players unless absolutely necessary. If somebody annoys/insults/brings discredit to one clan then that should not mean that other clans should ban him from their servers also. It's not their business.

Obviously a particular clan could ban such players from their servers but what has that to do with TSGK? What happens if one day someone in a 'friendly' clan gets personal, bans someone wrongfully, and asks TSGK to also ban them. TSGK would ban them from 22 servers even though they did no wrong.

It will lead to arguments etc etc. and TSGK getting involved in other people's arguments. No - that is not what TSGK is about.

Hmm i like dans idea, but yes im going to have to agree with Diet. There would be no way to tell if it was due to a personel issue or a more serious one. Perhaps a compromise is needed. Maybe a forum that's main function is to report these players (not just tag misusers, but also abusive players) so that we can all watch for the same behaviour if they enter the other clans servers.
That way it is the choise of the clan in question still, rather than getting mixed up in other clans business.
To be brutally honest though, i only care when it is a clan member (or faker) is misbehaving. This is because they carry our names and reputation with them whilst they wear the prefix, so i am happy as long as us clans stay friendly to each other. The other players can do what they want i think, just dont insult me or i'll have to drug you, hehe

I think you didnt get the Point cause i explained maybe too general. Im not talking about Banning for some reason like Spawnkilling or just seen Camping 2 or 3 Times. Also not for being aggressive on a bad day or call someone "Idiot" for example...

I talk about the Specialists out there like Nazi´s. Just seen a German Guy with [SS] !!! Tag playing on TBR Coop Server. TBR isnt my Job longer but a few Weeks, ago a German with a Nazi Tag wouldnt survive and stay longer then i can open my Admin Menue.

Also i met yesterday a really nice Dude lol. He said "FUCKING IDIOT!!!" everytime i killed him. And i killed him often... Wink

His name was like "^-^...BOOOM" or sutton in this Way. I not really gave something about cause we all know such Creatures but i could imagine im not the only one who was called in such Way all time and he replied so fast that i think he has bound a Key to this "FUCKING IDIOT". I will never understand what is going on in sch ones Brain. Cant be really high Voltage in there... If we would just sort out the most bad of them, this would help a lot and increase the popularity of the Game in general.

We actual have again the Discussion about CounterStrike & HL2 in Germany. Some Full-Stop-Idiot made a Announcment in the Game Chat, that he would go and Kill all his Teachers and School Comrades soon. Schools where closed, the Police was screwed up etc..

Everytime when some Psycho decide again to run Amok in his School they just say "was predictable because he played "Killergames". Yes youve seen right. The German News call it "Killergame" and that it would make the Kids ill... surely this Nerd was Ill-Spirit before he even played CS or HL² one time but it must be someones/somethings Fault for the Public and the Game comes just right to point on it and dont ask for the general Background. And now again the Politics talk about, that this Kind of Games (All Kind of FPS!) should be forbidden!

Its not far to general Rules against(!) all Kind of Online FPS and we all will play only Minesweeper or the good old PacMan again. With much Luck we will be allowed to fight against Robots with green Blood only... If the Community - mainly the Clan Leaders & Server Owners - dont take Part against and set this Kind of Guy clear Borders. This few Guys shouldnt be allowed to make us all look like "blood addicted Monsters" and

We should put all our Effort in holding such Creatures far and punish where we can. I know its just virtual and also dont take everything personal but in my personal Views all this Racist, Hobby Offender and Guys with Names like "Niger & Motherf***er" should even have any Internet Access. They shall meet and organise somewhere else but at last at my Servers!

Even it is still "anonym" laugh Internet and we use it for Fun. There are Borders they never should get crossed and most of us are far away from them but some seemable only connect to do just this and nothing else. I see myself much more often faced to Guys like this last time and the I/N Ratio (Idiot/Nice Dude) Ratio seems to increase in my personal View. I bought this Game just the first Day it was out in Germany (October 2004) and stick to it since then. I had uncountable funny Hours, playing with nice, mature and fair People like you Diet and all the others i know personal but the Entertainment Level is dropping massive in following that there isnt anymore a Place, save from this virtual Apes.

Maybe im false or this is just the "next Generation" of FPS-Gamers but i personal connect for a funny Game and chill out only. If i wanna meet primitives i buy a ticket for the Apehouse at the Zoo next to me even im deadly sure some of the real Apes know much more about Respect and Behavior then some Players i met last time.... Maybe some try to get a Lesson there for free... Crying or Very sad

Everybody who know me, know also, that im not a Moaner or Whiner in any Way and can deal with this. But this doesnt mean that i would be still Entertained or happy about in any Way.

Its absolute clear that noone can sort this all out and protect his Servers from every bad Happening but this isnt a Argument for not even trying it in some Way. I´m far away to add 250 Guys per Week to all Bannlists but the extra ordinary and racist should be sorted out straight and effective without any worries. Also not everyone should be allowed to decide about adding a IP to Ban. We could create a Kind of democratic Voting. Everybody can report what happend, wich time, Server and Stuff and all FFL Leaders can vote yes or no after they know about the Background. Noone would take the Effort to post about just for a Joke even he must be affraid to get punishment byself if he tell lies.

There are about 700 Servers on the List and even a permanent Ban from all FFL Servers wouldnt hurt this few Guys as half the would deserve it sometimes but it would be a first Step and make our all Live and Game much more comfortable and the Game byself back to as it was planned. Pure Entertainment.

We really should seperate between Free4All & Anonym Online Gaming and Anarchy Online. If we dont do it self someone else will sort it much more harsh and general and we all will get kicked in our Bum soon. I promise you will remember my Words some Day when some Politics decide to make Online FPS illegal and you get a Message from your Hoster. This Guys wanna see only the few bad Examples - as usual and only look forward for the next good Reason to make it Law and cut all needed Ports for example. And Actual we couldnt even Reply or start a Petition and say "We tried all and banned this Subjects as far as possible".

Maybe some of you now seen my Point, some surely laugh and general noone would give even a Shit if i just stop playing after about 2 Years but im not talking only about my personal Stuff here. There are general Problems and the only Question is when, how & from who they will get sorted. Maybe you think about this.

If not you are welcome to play a round of online Chess with me (surely only if this will be still allowed then) Wink

M8 - of course I don't like racists. And there are extreme cases that should be banned, and do get banned.

The point I'm making is that TSGK servers are about playing the game - normally little chat and frantic play. Generally, such players are useless anyway and get fed up and leave after a while.

If a server feels it needs to ban someone then good for them. But to expect others to do likewise is too much. It's an issue that TSGK don't generally discuss - it either happens or not. You know I respect other friendly clans, but that does not mean that I want a situation where other clans decisions impact on TSGK decisions. And you know full well that what starts out as a way to stop extreme example becomes a system to make everyone play the same, worship the admins and have a police server.

'Welcoming' such people would mean we're friendly, and chat with them etc. Of course we don't. We frag them instead...a lot. Wink

And we're very strict about clan members' behaviour.

The best way for me is self-regulation. If people are offended then they will leave and the bad player will have no one to play with. This always works. It does not reflect on the server.

In the end, it's just a game. It's easy to be patient, leave the PC, pour a glass of milk, water the plants, chat with the wife, feed the cats etc etc (real life). It's easy not to get too bothered. Very Happy

Im not goint to set up a blue random light on my Head while i play ar run around the Servers to control every Player. This was just an Idea that you can agree or not. Noone overrules someone or take over his decision if he post the banned Players (and the Reasons that let him decide to ban) public and nearly the same Way as KC use to post Playernames when they think this Guys would camp too often.

Maybe not all think its going to be usefull but i also dont think any reason against so that i will post the extra ordinaries on (with their IP) on our Forum in Future. Its ever uniques Decision to use the Info for his Servers also or not. Leaving my own Servers cause 2 or 3 Stranger mean to missbehave isnt a Option in my personal View even if we would have 100 Servers and more then enough Alternatives to play then...

I dont need to leave - and also not all other nice Guys - to make them know that they are not welcome for their behavior.

Also i use to Ban rudest Players from Server only after i still have water the computer, feed the wife and chat with the cats...lol Very Happy

No Fyckfaco, no argument - Danny and I got back some way and have debated this from time to time.

If I see someone using your clan's tag and I know they're not in your clan, I'll let you know about it straight away. Using tags without permission is very bad. No doubt, Danny will do the same - but he might gimp them on his servers as well. Cool
