Headshot sound at TSGK Servers |

The headshot sound is now installed on TSGK Servers for the .357 Magnun only.
The TSGK headshot servers script is working great (95% of the headshot will be detected).
No fake headshot can occur (sound is never played if no headshot), this headshot sound works only with the .357 Magnun, but in some case (only if the victim had more than 48 Suit armor), the headshot is not detected by the script and then no sound will be played (which will not be a real problem).
TSGK will gladly share this script with every server admins, feel free to PM me on this forum if you want this script for your server.

I take it that this is not recorded in Hlstats? I did a few last night and my "headshots" count is still at zero.

I think the scoring fields regarding headshots are a carry over from CS. The stats system is not able to record head shots for HL2DM.

I did this script fastly yesterday to finaly have a sound for the .357 headshots, but the next step will be to record the headshots in HLStatsX (it's possible).

I think recording it in stats is a mistake, esp if its only with 357. I may nail you in the head with a crossbolt, but just cause i dont use 357 doesnt mean i should be penalized

There is no body hits recognition for crossbolt.
It does the same damage whatever it hits (you don't need to aim the head to kill in 1 shot).
Only 2 fire weapons can kill with only 1 shot (headshot), .357 and Shotgun.
I did a script for the shotgun too but there is a problem because you have 2 kinds of shot, the single shot and the double shot, headshot sound can be trigger with the double shotgun shot only for now (so i have not activate it on the script).
Also, headshot didn't count in your score anyway, it's just a statistic purpose.

While playing on dm_lostvillage (loads of 357) it because more common than the Humiliation sound. heard a few complaints and yea, it got annoying . Im sure on regular maps it wont be as common, but once you have both humiliation and HEADSHOT on lostvillage, you cant hear anything... including ur nades Nothing important, just mild

HL2DM is'itn made for making freaking headshots like CSS freaks who just shout about a stupid headshot -.-
HL2DM MUST NOT HAVE HEADSHOT

Nad about the headshot thing i agree ,
becouse why do a HL2Dm player need to aim to the head?
JUst own them with a ggun in the legs
Or shoot 'em with your mighty bow in the belly button
Or.... stick them in the arm lol

And for the cs players : Cs mess with the Best(HL2Dm) bleed like the rest

Yes - spawn protection is available elsewhere. Chat protection is also available (if you don't move for 5 secs then protection kicks in).
But I would not like to see any on TSGK . Real fun means rolling your eyes if you get spawnkilled and getting on with the game. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes your not.
I like TSGK servers because it's about playing, not about rules, or scripts etc. Next people might want votekicks etc. Grrr!, booo!

The headshot thing is cool now, but why are all the sounds gone from the servers? I miss hearing when somebodies on a killing spree, and then they the get humiliated.

Did you set cl_restrict_server_commands to 0 ?
