Authors: SeCy (beuz.com ) & Osiris_TSGK

SeCy designed a half donut structure, after the first look the ideas were coming very fast, the gameplay is definitly different, very horizontal and fast, no place to hide (except one Smile), it's another new generation of killbox map following the rules of dm_domebox_tsgk.

Oh... I'm remember now .... it was not a dream ... I have played this map at 2-3 am today... Wink

Really funny map. The lifts give some new gameplay... And really no place to camp... I tried to camp on the top red donnut... It was funny... but fast deadly...
What's an increadible KPD for a noob like me on this map : 1.98 Wink

nice idea, nice map, but too much elevators around which lames the gameplay for my taste. All the time up and down.... Less elevators or bigger mapsize down around at the floor, than it would be cool. Rest is great.

I played this map for the first time tonight. Positives... I enjoyed the game, nice colours, original idea, tight battles. However, I have to agree with Furianer on this. The map looks great yet the lifts disrupted gameplay for me and they interfere with phys (and there's a lot of objects lying around so I presume this was to be a big part of the gameplay).

The map felt slightly small - maybe too horizontal? I suppose I felt a lot of my frags were down to luck (somebody walking into my line of fire) rather than me deliberately setting out for someone. Perhaps time will change my mind.

I personally love this map. Good gameplay, lots of physics Very Happy , a great ball generator Smile , and best of all no good camping spots Laughing . My only gripe with the map is the same as Diet's and Furianer's the lifts do get a bit annoying maybe if it was only the blue bits were lift it would be better but otherwise great map, congrats to all involved Razz

Love the new map, think its absolutly awesome. Im gonna have to disagree we the lifts being a problem though, i think they're great. It forces you to use methods you only see now and then. There are very few places to do small jumps in hl2dm, and these are perfect for such a jump. Gliding over the top of 3 people with an armed grenade is so fun, and if your physics is a good aim, then all is good. Me and Biffjab have learned to trick each other with the lifts, by jumping from the top floor when being chased up there, to the bottom. Nomally to avoid a shot, then spring straight back up with the lift and plant a bolt in the head of the confused chaser. I love it, plus allows you to get round the map at rediculous speeds if you jump and hit every third lift you can go very fast. This is very dangerous if you are a good shot with the magnum, the speeds you reach can only be stopped with phyisics or nades, so noobs beware, lol!!! Dunno if anyone noticed but the gas bottles cant be knocked over with other physiscs objects, and the glass reacts differently depending on how you fire a combine ball, dont know if these are known issues, but thought id mention them. HAve fun, and well done ORISIS

Yes, but once your getting knocked up by slow physics and shot around the lifts, you lift up, hit ur head on the floor, down, up, hit head, Dead. Flying toilets and other happy household products hit you while your giving yourself a concussion. Great map, love it, maybe consider only half the panels become lifts (like only blue or only white) dont know if that'd make it better or worse. Other than that, awesome Razz

Well done on this revision, its a damn good map, much more space. Its less frantic, and more user friendly, but i do think some of the changes made in RC3 in comparison to RC1and2 have altered the original idea that Orisis stated in the first post. It feels much more like domebox now rather than what is described in the quote above, and the ground floor now seems to encourage running around chasing other players with a weapon rather than using the ojects and barrels scattered around to kill someone.
I couldnt work out if the glass was breakable in this one, is it?? If not then i think this is a good change as it keeps that central hole nice and mental and keeps the multi kills flowing.
I like the extra room up on the top floor, but think there maybe too much down the bottom, it doesnt feel round down there when it is so big, perhaps thickening the lower floor central wall so that the outside is a bit smaller and the openings to the middle become more like very small tunnels.
Anyway i love them all, and will play all of them, but RC2 has my vote, learn to love the lifts, love them i say!!! =)

how about making the orb generator so that it is a bit faster (but not as fast as normal as this way you get a lot of random kills) because right now its very frustrating to wait so long to grab an orb.

It's been quite awhile since rc4, but there's something I've been noticing these past few days that really annoys me with this map.

In the center circle with the charger and 4 elevators there is a spawn point in close enough proximity to an elevator to trigger it when a player spawns. This activates the elevator right when I try to move upon spawn, causing me to fly straight up in the air a few feet with no forward momentum when I'm trying to strafe jump into a bunny hop. Anybody else experience this, or does my fat self need to stop eating so many cheeseburgers?
