backup software |

Can someone suggest a good program for backing up pc info? I am doing it for a business and the info is vital to me. I prefer something that will prompt me to do it on a regular basis because I am forgetful Is Norton Ghost any good?

Norton Ghost is more of a "cloning" program, not really a backup program.
If it's for a business, it depends what server OS you are running. I'd recommend Backup Exec, but it's quite expensive.

An important feature you have to look with is that it should be customizable, and if so, then it would be the best backup software. There are two modes for this type of software is the automatic mode and manual mode. The difference between the two is that with a manual mode, the user will manaully run while the automatic mode works by itself. Some companies have also become involved in remote configuration for best backup software.

Create your own BAT script, can't go wrong and it costs nothing.
Does our forum default to the first post ever created or something?

I use this site to backup stuff but only for textures and maps really.
You can make the files private and password the folder.
I even upload password winrar files to be safe XD.
