Built this horse a few days ago. Everything went well and I have a GTX 570 arriving tomorrow to finish the build. I'm using my new lifecam 5000 HD for the pics, seems the pics aren't so HD. Video looks great though.

Nice build, indeed the pics dont do its justice, some clear shots would be nice.

The only thing i would change would be the CPU cooler, but thats me.

A waterblock would be nice, but the hyper 212 will take this cpu to 4.6 easy.

I'm convinced this webcam has great video and crap pictures, I might just do a quick video of the rig. Lost my digi cam battery (raged emote)

and use it to buy a better graphics card, you should've waited for Ivy bridge too, it's right across the road!!

I would rather pay for my windows, bootleg is degrading to the PC as a whole.

The gtx 570 is massive and maxes every game out today except metro 2033, nothing (single gpu based) maxes that game well yet. This board supports quad SLI and the 570's will only get cheaper.

Ivy bridge was out already when I bought these parts, it cost $20 more to get an ivy core i5. Notice I didn't buy it. The ivy cpu's have heating issues and will not overclock like this SB 2500k (still the best gaming CPU out right now).

I could buy an ivy cpu and sell this 2500k locally for most of what I paid for it. Ivy isn't worth it for just a gaming PC.

I did save my money where it counts, that's why I have the HD webcam,razer headset, new asus HD netbook, $75 worth of extra storage and a matching second monitor on the way (this monitor is corporate certified advanced RMA and guaranteed stock).

I measured before buying monitors and these two will fit/fill the arch of my desk perfectly with two VESA mounts ( I would show you what I mean but this cam takes shitty pics). I also ordered the last fans and a front panel controller for them.

If anything I should have bought an SSD to go with the mechanical hard drive for booting or steam, the latter can be done later with ease. I also ended up buying an air cleaner and air conditioner for the PC.

At the end of the day I don't see a point to buying a 670 or 680 when I max skyrim at 1080p using the HD texture mod. PC doesn't break a sweat at stock speeds.

Not to mention suggesting someone to steal windows is a horrible idea. Here in the states many people have been threatened/engaged with law suits for doing so.
