I found this interesting online fps called Tribes: Ascend. It features a unique movement system where you "ski" down hills to accelerate to really fast speeds (apparantly up to speeds like 300km/h and more) and use you jetpack to get over them and fly around, I couldn´t really get into the movement system yet, I keep getting slow but that will improve with practice. there is multiple game modes like TDM or CTF. Installed, did one tutorial, crashed.

Restarted PC, still crashed, updated drivers for an hour, crashed.

Not going to work for me.

its quite fun actually, might take a while getting used to. You get weapons boosts and stuff but you can unlock them normally i think. Its for free and they actually did quite a decent job of it. Be better if you could hold more weapons though. Shocked

this is a game that takes time to get into.

you can unlock everything for free, it just takes way longer. Some people are ready to pay and that keeps the game free.

that is too bad ghostdog. it runs fine for me, It just freezes for a 2 seconds sometimes and most textures get lost when I alt-tab but no crashes so far. Maybe you could try running it in windowed mode or reduce the graphics quality?
