As i've read the hitboxes are the same , just the hitreg is synced better.

I got adapted pretty quickly. since I use scroll wheel jumping there is hardly ever any intereferance with speedskating, if you donīt use it yet, I recommend giving it a try, its much easier than using space. I actually got faster than before the update I think, also it forces you to jump properly or you get the bug. I wouldnīt want to try learning it from scratch now though. the broken physics are the only real issue. but I like how the gravity gun seems to have gotten more force, it feels easier to push physics out of your way which is useful when the path is blocked. also I like how the 357 is much more accurate than before the update. overall its not that bad.

one weird thing I noticed is that sometimes there is a weird bug where your movement is visually broken and it feels like rubber bands are holding you back. the character and weapon model sort of vibrate, it takes some moving around and the bug is gone again.
some other bugs:
-objects like windows still get violet after minimizing the game sometimes
-sometimes the game freezes and continues after a few seconds. its just like its going to crash but then it continues.

I've had this happen very rarely before the new update, but it appears to be more prevalent now.

I don't know about anyone else, but I find I can move pretty quickly now when spin hopping.

the hitreg is better, the 357 is no longer frustrating as it used to be. the only annoyance is that on bright maps I donīt know where Iīm shooting, canīt see the crosshair. I have it red but without the "outline" command it gets lost. the only solution is to make it bigger so that it is more noticeable.

I still can't understand why Valve never implemented options to customize crosshair color, size, and shape such as in Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat. This is probably one of the bigger irks about deathmatch I have.

you still can customise the stuff ^^ And Hl2dm was fan made >_> as i've read. So Valve Bought it off and didnt bother including anymore time in to the Game\Mod Laughing thats what i think.

Hl2dm is certainly not fan made, it IS fan maintained.

Half life 2 was released tandem with counter strike source, unexpected to Valve fans still asked where the multiplayer form of hl2 was.

Two weeks later here comes hl2dm (most likely coded by one employee) to shut us up, not a bad game for 2 weeks.
