Hi guys,

I'd like to submit a report for a suspected cheater.

Notice in the demo he gets headshots with mag yet he is shooting at the body.

Also his mag seems to hit the enemy even when the crosshair does not point at them.

Its about a 3 minute demo, i think there is enough here.

Wow I wish I could track people through walls I shouldn't see.

Some mag shots are fishy too but 100% wallhack not even trying to hide it.

I've played against this guy before and never thought to look, but he did get a lot of headshots I figured he was a mag whore.

Glad someone thought to check him out.

Im surprised to find out that I have a natural wallhack built right into my brain since you conclude what you see is "100% wallhack" Wink

, I surprise myself sometimes.

But yes, I admit, im a dirty mag whore Sad

you are right about that bit. And im sorry for kids like Sadist who must accuse people for cheating and come in here and cry whenever they encounter someone who is better than them, because hey! "cheat must be the reason why they own me".

I don't play much anymore but I do drop in now and then, and it is getting a little tiresome getting accusations like this over and over again.

Anyways, hoping to see some more tsgk members in the classic servers(not a huge fan of killbox), because at least they are worthy opponents and require some effort to take down Smile

There's a bit where the combine guy is at the RPG and ORiON stops to zoom in and line up a headshot. If he had a mag/headshot hack, he would've just quickly shot the guy up there and got him?

And after that, a lot of his mag shots miss the target so, ...not a cheater?

Hello ORiON I watched the video and think that the recording of
players is sometimes not the best way to tell if a player is cheating.

it did look odd at the end of the demo when you shot him in the belly
and got a head shot but this might be down to the player you shot
having lag .

PS: please dont have a go at others who think you are cheating
I am sure Sadist would not take the time to record you and put
you on the forum if he did not believe you were cheating.

People should know that demos recorded online has a delay between client and server which you can observe in any demo recorded online, hence your crosshair wont point exactly where you hit especially not if people you shoot are lagging as well.

Sadist is a veteran player I believe from looking at his stats and should know the above. So I hope this enlightens him.
Maybe I should do a post on what to look for when spotting after cheaters since it seems like others have trouble distinguishing what is cheat and what is not as well.

There's not enough evidence in this to convince me of cheating.

I know Sadist wouldn't report something if he wasn't fairly certain and I'm sure there was a lot of incidents before he decided to record this. However, going on the demo attached above I don't see anything compelling. Sure there are some body shots that are counted as headshots - but I've done that myself many a time. The hit register in hl2dm is notorious. More importantly, I see plenty of misses. Misses that simply wouldn't arise imo with a hack. I've never seen a hacker that underuses a hack... The zoom also suggests normal play.

What part of the demo suggests this - are you confusing this with another demo elsewhere?!) I get the part where he looks through the rubble, but he's pointing to a near a spwn point. He then zooms, moves it around a bit (need to view the demo real slow for this) and then shoots the head.

In any event, this isn't conclusive. TSGK errs on the side of caution with regard to bans. This is a principle with us. Sadist will understand this just as orion will understand that we have to investigate these things. And will continue to.

Ok for everybody that says I see misses, people have been toggling cheats on and off for years now with a push of a button, and if you don't see the wall tracking you aren't watching it.

point it does look like you are wall hacking when the demo is viewed in this way ... just saying what I see not anything personal Wink
