Subject description: First of all... HI ALL!!!!!!
 

First of all i want to say hello there, just registered ^^

I am working on ma new map for HL2DM, i nearly finished it, but now i have a big problem with the ilumination.

I see that the Physics cast no shadow and i cant see any explosion, just the light flash, but not the fire, and happens with all explosives: barrels, nades, slams, etc.

I tried doing several changes in the light_env, using other skyboxes, but i stuck at this point (there appears no error in the compile log, i checked it).

I thought that maybe one of you heard something about, or has a good trick for me Very Happy

You may not have the right settings in your Entities or prop properties if there are no errors in the compile log and console.

Here's a quick map with the shadow_control, and the light_environment Entitie. (fill free to copy them in your map)

The map in attachment has working shadows and a working oil drum explosive also pictures. (.vmf and map .bsp)

i'll post later the results, because i have no shadow controller, lets check if it works....

it worked with the shadow controller, i have shadows again, but i always dont see the fire/smoke on the explosions...

BTW, my barrels dont respawn, only 1 does, i copied this one X times, and only the first respawns XD

damn it hehehe Laughing Cool

The barrels should work fine check all the properties for the barrel, or make a new one.

I found the problem with the barrels, they werent 1pxl above the flor, now they respawn properly. Very Happy

Now the last point... the fire by the explosion, any ideas? (happens by nades too)
