This is a demo of what can be done with HTML5, this pacman game has been fully coded in HTML, you need a decent browser to be able to see it:
Writeup | Code on Github _________________ Allez allez, enlève ta culotte et déboutonne mon pantalon...
I can play it here.
Was looking in the codes and saw you need atleast one of these browsers:
Firefox 3.6+, Chrome 4+, Opera 10+ and Safari 4+.
IE doesn't support it at all. _________________ Has an old Vac Banned account named Termi.

The new browsers will be great (HTML5 is shaping up nicely) but as a web dev its still crap having to cater for the likes of I.E 6 and 7 which unfortunately I still have to do as the statistics below show. You could probably combine the stats for i.e.6 and 7 because their as bad as each other.
Web Browser Usuage as of July 2010
1-----Internet Explorer 8----26.17%
2-----Firefox 3.6--------------23.11%
3-----Internet Explorer 7----11.41%
4-----Chrome 5----------------9.45%
5-----Internet Explorer 6------6.79%
6-----Firefox 3.5----------------5.27%
7-----Firefox 3------------------2.54%
8-----Safari 4-------------------1.70%
9-----Opera 10-----------------1.45%
10----iPhone 3.1---------------0.50%
It's obviously not working under Opera, simply because they did this in purpose, they exploit a memory leak in Opera browser, that's a lot of work just for it.
Also, it seems like Google is really afraid of Opera as they also released an animated logo on their search engine index, it works under every browsers, oh no, not Opera, apparently for Google, Opera doesn't handle JavaScript...
Again, another trick to discredite Opera browser.
The funiest thing is that if you identify Opera as Firefox, it works.
And then they claim to be for a neutral internet, they just showed that they aren't.
But all of this is positive, if Google is afraid of Opera then that mean it's definitly a nice browser.
Google is going really crazy with their Chrome browser, taking the way of IE 6.0, even if this means nothing, this is actually quite a more serious problem what if they do the same with Firefox, Safari or IE, and favorise Chrome for their search engine usage.
It is apparently what happend with a browser which is surpassing Chrome in term of performance.
Would you switch your browser to Chrome or would you stop using google.com for your search.
Looks like Google is starting to use their monopole in a naugthy way.

Little update with the release of the new Opera 11.
Opera and Chrome still fighting far ahead.
Addidtion of GreenBrowser (based on IE 7.0) and SRWare Iron (based on Chrome), plus update of all the others browsers to their lastest version.
Have just updated to IE 9 RC
How does this one add up Osiris?
Just tested the RC, i do find it disapointing.
Surely they did a very big step over IE 8.0 toward a more standar friendly browser, the acid3 test finaly look like something, it does handle a few HTML5 but it still deprecated compared to the others majors browsers.
Since it is an RC this mean they aren't going to add anything more but just to focus on the stability and security until its final release.
No point benchmarking IE 9 if the result are fake for now.
Although, if you'r an IE 8.0 user you will definitly see a big improvement, but that's because you never used any previous version of others browsers than IE...
On a positiv note, Microsoft really wanted to do something great and is taking a smarter approach of the web with IE 9, this is encouraging for IE 10.
Wait and see. _________________ Allez allez, enlève ta culotte et déboutonne mon pantalon...

Have got feed up with the slow way ie9 rc finds a web site, so i'm now trying out chrome.
Seems ok but would like to have my favourites (other bookmarks) permanently open in a side panel on the left, like i had in IE. Anyone now how to do this? _________________

You can't do that nativly with Chrome, same with Firefox and Safari doesn't do it either.
Although Opera does it nativly. _________________ Allez allez, enlève ta culotte et déboutonne mon pantalon...
