[Off Topic]
If communism and to a lesser extent socialism were enacted in the way they were designed to be e.g. no dictator emerged, no repression of the people occurred, no elements of fascism etc, it would be a much more viable option for society than capitalism. Capitalism is based on competition, and as a result of this is based to be uneven. There will always be poor people, sick people and the disadvantaged under a capitalist system. Capitalism as a system of government is much more hostile to people's feelings than Communism.

Communism in the true sense of the word is closer to what Lennon (pun intended) talks about in "Imagine". The communism we have seen so far is merely fascism with a different name.

That's not his point, he is saying communism is a wonderful concept, much better than capitalism when there would be no dictator and no corruption. I think we all pretty much know the corruption will always be there so your "disagreeing" comment on the matter of the theorethical pure communism with no corruption is based on wrong argumentations.

Anyways, back to the topic Razz

Communism is like a car - it has to be used correctly, there are so many mentals on the road, as there are leaders (and dictators) who may employ communism (or capitalism) yet do not run a state with fairness or respect. So while communism may be a great concept, it must be employed to this extent so that it can be accepted into western culture.

M8, if people just respected each other there would be no dictators, no repression, no facism, no politics, no isms

There is nothing wrong with any ism so long as there's no people involved.

Although cubism is BS IMO. Very Happy
