Your streak.txt looks fine.
Check out that the files headshot.mp3 and headhunter.mp3 are inside sound/quake at the server, if you use a fast download server, make sure they are also present at it, and that the ones at the client are also the same version that the server is playing.

I am running the latest metamod source version of this plugin on a windows server.
im getting this error. what does it mean and should i be worried about it?
[KEEPER_SOUNDS] ERROR: Empty Entity error ... skipping log processing [0]

Priority to Keeper Sounds plugin for now, nothing planned for league plugin at this time.

The plugin is now heavily tested, the final release should now be available in a couple of hours depending its stability.

So far all the streaks and events are working.

The new version is now 2.00.

Change/Additions for 2.00:

- Orange Box compatibility.

Any ideas?

Make sure that you don't have both of the .so installed.

Delete addons/keeper_sounds.so and addons/keeper_sounds.vdf if presents.

Didn't had the time to test the Meta mod version, so i would recommend to run the VSP for now.

Is there a CVar I can use to check it's running if/when the servers re-appear?

Did you also uploaded the new KVF file available in CFG ?

The only files to be uploaded for the upgrade is:

For VSP:

/addons/keeper_sounds.dll (for windows)
/addons/keeper_sounds.so (for linux)
/addons/keeper_sounds.vdf
/cfg/dllinfo.kvf

For SMM:

/addons/keeper/bin/keeper_sounds.dll (for windows)
/addons/keeper/bin/keeper_sounds.so (for linux)
/addons/meta/keeper_sounds.vdf
/cfg/dllinfo.kvf

KVF was updated, yes - also made sure not to upload the .dll as it's not needed Smile

Dont know what to do... but first, congratualations for KS 2.0!

My Server: hl2dm, Linux, SM/MM latest version, but keeper wont work. I did exactly what the installation guide says... when i do a restart, my server is crashing till i remove keeper 2.0

Till last week keeper (without orangebox) is running quiet perfect. I have no idea... do you?

So, i just did a test with the lastest SMM version 1.8.3 on a Linux box.

Uploading only:

/cfg/dllinfo.kvf
/cfg/keeper_sounds.cfg
/cfg/keeper_streaks.txt
/addons/metamod/keeper_sounds.vdf
/addons/keeper/bin/keeper_sounds.so

Plus all the /sound/ folder

Load fine, got meta list:

[02] Keeper's Sound Plugin (HYBRID) (v2.00-OB) by Keeper

kp_sounds_version:

- This is the version of the plugin

Really check that you aren't loading both the VSP and the SMM, if you are 100% sure, we will look into that, if you could tell us the Linux distribution you are using this could help.

Note that the upgrade procedure at the 2snd post is for the mega old version of Keeper Plugin (2.0.6), the one before Keeper Sounds Plugin, we will remove this upgrade procedure since this old plugin is completly deprecated.

No improvement.

Made 200% sure it was only the MM:S version uploaded, with the correct path in the VDF.
