What if you disable SourceMod or all the others plugin and only load Keeper Sounds?

I have spotted the problem.
edit cfg/keeper_sounds.cfg
find the cvar kp_joinserver_sound_file and make it blank
kp_joinserver_sound_file ""
There is apparently a problem with the join sound, don't use it until it get fixed.
Affect VSP and SMM, confirmed on Linux.

Things that I have noticed not working on windows and linux servers while running both types of plugin.
kp_head_hit_sound_file is not changeable. there was a bug like this previously but it got solved. now its back again.
hit sound is produced on friend hits even when Friendly Fire is off. this isnt the way its supposed to be, is it?
this also affects weapon stats. hits are registered on friendly players too.

A new version is up.
Change / Additions for v2.02:
- Fixed Friendly Fire issue logging with friendly Fire Off.
- Fixed Team Kill not being announced when Friendly Fire was On.
- Fixed kp_joinserver_sound_file crashing the server if not blank.
- Fixed kp_head_hit_sound_file not changeable.

A new version is up.
Following the engine update of the 06/10/2010.
Change / Additions for v2.03:
- Fixed hits sounds broken for some weapons.
Know issues:
- Hits sounds for Orbs and Physics being triggered on a friend when Friendly Fire is Off on a TDM (will be fixed).
Thanks to Peterson for testing them prior to this release.
Keeper's Streak Sounds Plugin v2.03 can be downloaded at:

Hi all!
I am in need of some help if possible. I am running a Linux server through Gameservers and still cannot seem to get the keepers plugin to work. Here is what I have installed:
In "/hl2dm/63.210.148.165:27015/orangebox/hl2mp/addons/keeper/bin":
keeper_sounds.dll
keeper_sounds.so
In "/hl2dm/63.210.148.165:27015/orangebox/hl2mp/addons" :
keeper_sounds.so
keeper_sounds.vdf
In "/hl2dm/63.210.148.165:27015/orangebox/hl2mp/cfg":
keeper_sounds.cfg (I am using my old one from before orangebox)
keeper_streaks.txt (I am using my old one from before orangebox)
dllinfo.kvf
I am running the latest Mani version and it appears to be working fine. Any ideas?

Did you make sure the .kvf and .so files were uploaded in Binary mode?
If using FileZilla - you can check this via the Transfer > Transfer Type > Binary option

I did verify that and it still does not work. I type "plugin_print" and no plugins show.
Also, in HLSW I am not even seeing Mani listed as an addon even though Mani is working perfectly.

Remove ALL the files and folders concerning KP Plugin execpt:
keeper_sounds.cfg
keeper_streaks.txt
And the sound/quake/ or any sound files that you are currently using with KP Plugin
Then ONLY upload the following:
addons/keeper_sounds.so
addons/keeper_sounds.vdf
cfg/dllinfo.kvf
Restart the server.

With reference to your HLSW problem - this is a general server problem, reporting of any plugin in HLSW is broken - the only way to check is via console commands. I'm hoping they fix this soon, it's a li'l annoying...

Still no good. When I restarted the server and the first map loaded this is the console information I received:

As you can see neither Keepers or Mani showed up when I typed "plugin_print".
So, right now all I have installed regarding KP is this:

In "/hl2dm/63.210.148.165:27015/orangebox/hl2mp/cfg":

dllinfo.kvf
I deleted the old "/orangebox/hl2mp/addons/keeper" folder and it's contents. Was this OK?
Also note I am using the original "keeper_sounds.cfg" and "keeper_streaks.txt" files that I had before OB update. Is this OK?

use sv_master_legacy_mode -1 in server.cfg

Just wondering, are these commands no longer usable? The green chat text ads a nice touch to the game:
kp_disable_ad
kp_green_chat
kp_mapchange_refresh
If I missed these somewhere, I'll look again.
