Fire the mag and hold primary fire then switch to grav gun (keep holding primary fire.) If you do it right you should hear a little tiny *pop* like a puff of air, but no big loud *BANG*.

True but the bullet doesn't always fire, test it out on an explosive barrel, it's 50/50 even if it does make a "ba..."

if you want to silence your mag, hit the flashlight on/off as soon as you fire Wink

It's just a delay that happen with every other weapons. As Jelly said, the bullet doesn't hit anything.

Yeah, it also leaves you under the imppression that you have found an unlimited bullet expolit when really your firing nothing but fresh air.

Same thing with the Shotgun ;D LoLZ I got used to it in a couple of weeks ,when you shoot and change to a crowbar Fast or the other waay arround it does shoot , but doesnt hit players , only the Physics ( Barels wont explode) and walls ;P Sometiems wehn im willing to take a Barrel and change like that....i am having a panic attack XD
