Yesterday I received a message via Steam that appeared to come from a Steam Friend.

The message contained a link for signing up to a tournament. I got a little suspicious and asked others about it and at first it seemed ok. But later it turned out that it probably is a scam, so watch out for this...

yeah it asks you to join a tournament
then you click it and it loads you a fake steam community page
which asks you for your details
as soon as you entire them your account is jacked
so take care guys
if you know of anyone with that please list their name.

OO7 Ripstar has it so far.
anymore names would be appreciated.

A very crude jacking attempt. As everybody should know, steam will
never contact you through the friends or community network.

This could however catch out the naive and new account holders.
