Council Relaunch / Merge with TSF Forums Hi Everybody, Some of you may be already acquainted with The Council Mapping Forum over at http://hl2mapping.30.forumer.com and the mapping releases done there and the mapping support that is offered. I am glad to announce that The Council Mapping Forum will now be hosted as part of the TSF Clan Forum, with special thanks to Lord Davros and Ravage at TSF. The Council Mapping Forum will continue to operate as has always done, only now as part of the TSF Clan. Therefore bringing more people together to share ideas, talk about maps and mapping and play new maps. So, just to re-acquaint with the format, you are invited to register with the TSF Forums and share the benefits of being part of a HL2DM community and also a part of a mapping hub, where you may post any questions you have about mapping, or share your work, or experience first hand new creations coming the forum. The New Council Mapping Forum is hosted here: http://www.rtype.com/TSF-Clan/forum/default.asp Important Note: The current Council Mapping Forum will remain open as an archive, members may find information there if needed, but everything that is needed will be hosted on the TSF Forums. _________________  |

The TSF forum is already an active forum with 110 members, most council forum members are already active in the TSF Forum. For joining you get first hand advice from 3 in-house mappers (before just 1) and from fellow mappers from a range of clans. From my standpoint its really enhanced my mapping experience and has a personal touch that other mapping sites cannot offer. |

Ya I'm thinking about joining, and to the person who said my logic fails, I'm registered on a ton of forums and I'm not going to join random forums unless there's really a reason to. I could use some experience in mapping so I'll probably sign up later. _________________ www.1337shift.org/ |

I think this comment needs a little more elaboration - If everyone reasoned that they would join if everybody else joined first, then nobody would join in the first place. It should also be mentioned I am not being critical of any person, but the reasoning process itself. Real reasons to join such as good tips for mapping are welcomed. |

My comment may have been taken the wrong way, I meant it simply as banter. What I meant was, his comment makes no sense. He is saying he will join if it gets more members, but if everyone has that attitude no one will ever join and cause others to join. Sorry to 1337 if he thought I was being nasty or cheeky.
