I've nearly finished installing all my programs on my new computer and only have the modem left to do.
Question - is there a program that lets me send and recieve faxes through broadband?
I know most poeple have moved to email, but some smaller companies still like to use faxes. Should i put the modem in (broadband is via a router)

As far as I know you cannot send faxes over broadband (at least I couldn't find a decent was to do it when last applying for jobs). There are a number of companies that will send faxes for you if you have a broadband connection, but where's the fun in that (and it usually isn't free)?

You're gonna have to stick with that old technology for a while.

Only if your provider does support the FOIP, if not, you will have to use your analogic modem 56K or whatever the modem.
