When I first came to live 60 degrees North, most of birds like great tits did not live here. We now have an indigenous population of Gaylad ( oops I mean Greylag) geese...
Gradually the fish population in the sea is changing. Species such as bass which are normally found in warmer water are starting to appear at these latitudes. Mackerel can be caught all year round when once the season was from July to October.
The mean temperature of the sea is now about 2 degrees warmer than it was 20 years ago. The winters are warmer and wetter and we have had no real snow to talk about for 10 years.
For a someone who is hard to convince that a postulate is true, without hard scientific evidence, I am now a believer in global warming. Why?
because it has brought some great tits.

P.S. Remember in cold weather, tits like coconuts.

I like to poke straws into coconuts and drink the nice coconut milk. Cool
