Hello all!

There have been recurring visits on at least servers VII and XIII by these two gentlemen:

STEAM_0:1:14649106 (Rocafella)
STEAM_0:1:16088314 (goes by many names, mostly by those stolen from others).

Other regulars I played with a few days ago said they would report them here but provided they are still active I thought I should give you a heads up.

I don't know how to record a demo, but there was definitely something going on, for they both:

- had a constant ping of 1 (I'm not sure if this is a sign of cheating but I have never seen it before)
- got nothing but headshots
- zoomed across the map without any signs of legitimate advanced movement
- had their screens upside down (!)

If you come across them and deem them worthy of a ban, it would make servers VII and XIII as fun as they used to be before these two showed up...

You've got the player names mixed up in your original post (Rocafella is the bottom dude). Anywho.....

Here's how to record a demo:

in the console type

record <demoname>

without the <> (e.x. record haxxors). The demo will show up in your \Steam\steamapps\*steam name*\half-life 2 deathmatch folder. Typing stop in the console will stop recording, or you can just leave the server.

It's uncertain whether or not anyone is hacking without a demo, although I'll bet the contents of my beer cellar (and my left nut, AND my great beards scrapbook) that Rocafella is haxxing.

If you don't have the console enable go into options and select the keyboard tab. Then click on advanced and check the "enable developer console (~)" box. ~ will now bring up the console.

Hi all ! ... with all the free steam account that have been given out over the last few months some bastards who have free hl2dm account are bound to cheat ..I say just ban them and let them explain themselves on this forum if they think they have been hard done by !!
