For the love of all that is holy... please help the world stop Uwe Boll from making another movie and ruining yet another video game-movie adaptation. He has promised that if 1 Million people want him to stop, then he will.

Uwe boll will never stop makeing(destroying) movies only cuz the Sponsors gain from those movies more than thay give ! Shocked

For those of you who can remember the adventure game (what's an adventure game? Shocked

), "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis", I always thought it would have made a great movie. I think there was talk once of it happening.

Certainly the Thief games or Deus Ex would make for a great movie if done well. I think the main problem with games not becoming great movies is because the movie is treated as another way of milking money and also because often, ehile the game itself might be great, the storyline can be too basic / absurd / under developed for a movie. For that reason HL2, imo, wouldn't be a great movie. It has great action (from a gamers perspective) but this would be irrelevant for a movie. It has nice settings - but so what for a movie? The storyline is basically, a chase / fight storyline with a bit of mysteriousness (but enough for a great movie?).

Even with all the right ingredients, it might not be done well. Hitman is a good example - great story with depth. Stupid film. Crying or Very sad
