How can I transfer funds from an Arbitrum wallet to Ethereum
I took on a project, but the client immediately warned me that payment would be in ETH, strictly to an Arbitrum wallet. At the moment, that’s the only place where he has funds, and he doesn’t really want to handle transfers between wallets. I agreed to his terms, completed the project, and he paid me. Everything went as agreed. Now I need to transfer everything from Arbitrum to Ethereum. I have no experience with this, and I created the Arbitrum wallet specifically for the project. I’ve looked into it, but I couldn’t figure out how to transfer the funds to the main Ethereum network. Is it even possible?
Of course, you can’t exchange directly. It’s like arriving in the US from an African country and trying to exchange your national currency for dollars. They are just different layers of wallets. You need a bridge from Arbitrum to Ethereum. For example, you can use this one: https://defiway.com/bridges/bridge-eth-arbitrum-ethereum . They are essentially commercial crypto services that help you swap funds between wallets on different layers.
