Hi

STEAM_0:1:14505897

this player who first called himself steve.howlett is muted cos of his swear quota.

So,he insults other players,especially me,by changing his player name to indicate the insults:

for example: kissmyaxe is a paedo

he changed his player name without any comment from me. Then he just keeps changing it to show further insults.

I am not completely innocent,but I did not start this feud.

There is also another player,jam tart,STEAM_0:0:5382711,that also consistently starts arguments.

what is the policy about players like this ?

I've seen those players too. They like to tell racist jokes and hate on other people. Nasty attention whores. One of the worst offenders is a player called "F*CK THE POPE". I think he's in the same gang.

He seems harmless enough now , muted. Ill make sure something like this happens to him in the kc servers as offensive language like that should not be acceptable anywhere. Although all you have to do is rise above it , if he wants to spend his time hating , dont feed it , just own him or humiliate him. The outcome is usually always funny.

yesterday i had the pleasure of playing with Axe, Steve Harlet, and the pope himself.

some guy was name-flaming Axe, and Axe was insisting that Harlet was in love with him, briefly i interrupt such scandal, and ask to be flamed by the man himself. the harlet claimed that i liked to "fuck ice cream", and i confirmed by saying Yes. about then silence was made, and the man changed his from kissmyaxe is a moaning virgin to "Dr.Breen is cool".

I asked why i was named such atrocity, the man awesered that i could laught at myself, and claimed that Axe was a major pain in the ass.

Well either way insults are insults , i myself am not a religous man however i can see why some people would be uncomfortable playing somenone call f**k the pope. Its in no way acceptable and if this happened to you , im sure you would all feel pretty much the same. Life goes on really , and I agree that some insults should just be rolled over and forgotten. But honestly if its come to the extent that someone has to post about it and takes the time and space to post a topic about 'huffy' insults , it would seem a bit pointless wouldnt it . The fact is in everyone's servers there are plenty of calm and kind players and a minority of shitty attitudes , which are not necessary. I hope you can respect our decision to take action on our own servers , as much as you can respect anyone else to not take any action in the slightest.

I respect the views here, of course, I am used to insults by players,who isn't ?

However, I have not started this insulting issue with this steve.howlett/steve harlett/bart simpson as his swearing quota was exceeded before I played on any server with him.

I am annoyed with these 3 players and it is hard not to take it personally, I understand I should ignore them,but I cannot, I am trying to.

Today is a prime example, I said "teams" as the teams were unfair and then the changing of his playername from Bart Simpson started.

As the chat history will confirm, the insults started without any comments from me and continued despite my best attempts to get him to stop, saying I was gonna use this chat as evidence. even when he was kicked by console for the "japs" use I suppose, he returned to bully me.

Some examples are:

Axe is a Traitor!
Axe moans way too much!
Axe those tears of pain!

Don't cry little Axey!

From the 2nd of dec:

kissmyaxe = insecure ladyboy

and so on.

I am so annoyed cos I am powerless to do anything except...

a)do not play on the servers they play on: 22g and tsgk,etc
b) ignore their insults/rise above the insults
c) reply to the insults
d) try to get them banned not just for me but for other players

Should I just avoid them ? Is that fair on me ?

well, I have posted comments on 22g in their forum and got action taken with f**k the pope being banned (again) on 22g. when a clan member was online.

I want more action taken.

Is this too personal? Well, it seems it,but if you see their chat,they have really insulted lots of players, not just me.

I am not alone in thinking just how sad these players are, thank you for agreeing with me, and perhaps nothing is gonna happen.

I realised yesterday this is bullying or even harassment, and should we put up with it ? I said this today.

There is no way I can get them to stop, which makes me so annoyed when playing hl2 deathmatch. My threats are hollow without the server admin deciding what is best for the majority of the players, and taking decisive action.

I would love and I am sure other players would as well to to start a votekick/voteban as it seems players are scared to get involved due to the ferocity of the insults from these three.

I thought a steam id was unique to a player, but it seems they have different steam id's.

Ok, muting their chat is better for me and a lot of players, that is a great real solution, but as my examples, they can still insult players by changing their playername.

Lets get these sad little bullies banned.

I appreciate the comments here, and of course, some ideas are just not practical, shame.

Tolerance is nice, of course, but someone has decided their is a a swearing quota on this server to what ? So players can come here and play without getting insulted and sworn at, look at swearing for no logical reason apart from to annoy and antagonise other players.

Yes, this limit takes time to reach and most players have better things to do in game (lol) apart from insult and swear at other players....

However, f*k the pope is well known for his insults and it seems other players/admin share my views, so it seems he is not required on certain servers as he does annoy..

Oh, according to this person, he is 53 years old....odd fact.

And this person who keeps changing his name to insult me, is that really helping players enjoy themselves on this server, as again, he has exceeded his swearing quota so he cannot chat, but he is still antagonising players on this server.

Is it acceptable to just say to any player:

"you can swear up to a certain point, you can then annoy, bully and harass other players, you can cause arguments by changing your player name, but no action will be taken"

Well, different people different views and opinions, so when I give my view, I am not always gonna be right everytime.

I say that there should be decisive action taken if there is sufficient proof that a player visits a TSGK server and knowingly causes trouble.

I conceed h20 has a good point, but these players are ruining the server for other players than myself.

Other server admin like 22g agree that these type of players are not required on their clan sever, so should TSGK take the same action ?

It seems no,which is a shame.

Say to these lot that a week ban is in effect, give them time to consider what they are doing ?

I feel I am not gonna win this one, but this type of atmosphere scares players from playing on certain servers.

Is there a way that playername can only be changed once a day on tsgk and if it is changed back they are kicked .
I'm sure if the player was stuck with the insulting name it would be more of a burden to them after a few games.
