Hi went to play on tsgk and was auto kicked off .... so thinking what the hells going on I looked on the stats page to see if I was banned but what the hell could not find my name on the list so did a search oh there I am but wait a minute Freelancer_TSGKthat's not me Confused

I have never put a tsgk members name in as my own and never would .....Please can you great god of TSGK sort this mess out for me I need to play Crying or Very sad

Ok,so the thing is that Nextone had the same problem,his CFG was changed because he watched my Dem. file,so did you. and THere you have it Smile

Its just Cause of the dem ,mine Cfg Changed lots after dem watching from others players Razz

I think there has to be a sticky on the forum about dem. files. If my hands will reach than i will do a topic and hopefully it will be Sticky'd By Osi.

Make your CFG file read only before you watch ANY Demo's.

I did watch the cheater demo do I need to change anything in my cfg file I have a backup one Confused

Everytime the player that record the demo is changing a parameter on his setting during the recording, it affect the player that is playing the demo too.

Demo recorders, don't change your name or any others settings during demo recording.
Demo players, attribute read-only to your config.cfg file or (not and) execute a backup of your original config file after watching a demo, exec configbackup.cfg, which will re-overwrite your config.cfg with initial values that your configbackup.cfg contains.

backed up my cfg file and can get back on TSGK again Very Happy

I have downloaded and played demo's before with no problems .
can all demo's be made read only when posted .

Osiris don't really understand your post but next time I watch a demo will make it's read only .

Juice from $W posted a demo a long time ago that got me into a nasty name change situation Laughing

. I joined Server X after viewing a Juice demo and unknowingly entered under Juice's name and was all like...WTF!!!!!!!!!! how did Juice get in here......and everyone else was all like...wtf....it's Juice!!!!! Then I realized what was going on and changed my name Laughing

I loled....but I still haven't read-only'd my .cfg file Laughing
