ok, here is the start. let me know what you think. just a screenshot for now. i played it once already, just went thought to see if it was too big, and trust me, its way too big, takes FOREVER to get to the top, so either adding an elevator, or ladders or whatever. let me know if I should keep the fog, get rid of it, or keep it but make it less foggy, but I really like it. sort of to TRY and cut down on attempted camping. when u enter the map it seems very mysterious and whatnot, especially with the ambient sound lol.

I think it looks nice, the fog. Question is in a full server is it hard on the eyes? Darkness and dark textures make it difficult to target players. Play it with your friends and you'll see how your map will play out.

ok!!! After some time of editing, i would say this map is "nearly half-way" ^^
here are some pics, but a few problems tho. Hope this is the right place to ask for help
at the top i have a little box, filled with water, and covered with breakable glass. but when you look at it from the top, you see straight through to the bottom floor xD
everytime someone joins, the server crashes, only with this map... there are quite a few walls the intersect oddly, could this be the cause?
most of importantly, how do you make an elevator like in other killboxes?
or at least a ladder.
sorry for this post in advance, i'm a noob mapmaker ^^;

sounds like a leak in the map, how well sealed is it?

Not my choice, but I would a consider making it smaller. if interlopers says its all holed up it might be the excuse you need to start from scratch and reduce the size.
PS i think the breakable glass on the water may be a problem.
Keep it up looking nice, basic but nice. hiw about dm_killramps as a name?

the galss thing i thought was the problem too. but it would have been fun xD I know i need to reduce the size. it was WAY bigger, and I already made it smaller, but its still too big xD

reason i want ladders/elevator is cuz it takes like, 10 minutes to et to the top xD not really, but it seems to take forever :p

Map file you can download showing 3 Different types of elevators, Sadist will be able to show you alot more though.
While I was part typing, part surfing, I managed to find the Wiki Entry for it:

For my map (Its unfinished from like half a year ago lol) I simply copy and pasted the World and Trigger objects (Im trying to sound if I know something here, dont hate me for chatting cr*p lol) into my map and they all worked. I then just played around with the Trigger settings until the elevators went to the height i wanted @ the speed I wanted etc.
Stealing other peoples work is wrong BTW
