there is some weird lag when I kill someone

when I shoot and kill someone sometimes there is some weird lag for a split second. it feels like when I kill the game has to load something, like something is triggered with it, the fps stays the same (60-100). the lag is not very significant but IŽd like it to go away. do I have to reinstall it? it started some time ago.

I get this but it is rare, once a game maybe.

Yeah I can get it quite often , and then other times its fine. Maybe its because my processor is too full and is lacking a bit? Anyway thats my only thoughts , although it seems unlikely with 5gig free space.

my pc is definitely strong enough to take hl2 so that shouldnŽt be the issue.

I got it for the 1st time last night on server I, but had just come of another tsgk server and none on there, but only half the players
