I played a player today who seemed to be using a hack to catch anything thrown at him, physics, fast orbs, nades. never missed to catch anything. I was facing his back, fast orb: instant turnaround (he didnt know I was in his back), changed to gravgun and caught. fast orb in the air, caught. every physic always caught.

his catching skill did not match his overall skill at all so I think it was an "aimbot" for the gravity gun. did anyone else encounter such a hack?

it was on the kbh europe server.

No seriousely, are you really sure it was a fastball ? I have the issue somstimes that I'm sure I fired a speedball but it turns out not to be.

In past, I remember some players say about me i have a "ggun autocatch script"... because i catch all ressources in my environnement.
I don't know how a such script can work. For me it was just a question of key binding and a knowledge of the map.
Concerning your player, perhaps u are too predictable...

By the way I get accused of cheating on NIC, and Fear server yesterday.
I met someone late in the evening that figured out it was me on a server hopefully but I can't remember wich one Confused

Err, by the way I don't use script except this one :

begin : if you hear orb trigger then push key and switch to GG
if you hear GG trigger then push key and switch to GG (nade in approach)
if you hear .357 sound jump and run you'll be dead soon
end : yourdead

It works with 'see' instead of 'hear', and you can replace .357 with a gun of your choice

G3RB1L_TSGK, AKA Tubbs, I make it my business to know all the top players on the KC servers by their approximate score because some players have a habit of changing their names more often than most people change underwear. Embarassed

On this occasion, Soltan vin Igor beat me too it. Cool

Now the stats for the session resulted in 3 physics kills each so I don't think you are the grav gun hack that Lawitz is talking about.

Now if he had actually been playing against Lawitz, I have found a more likely candidate. Check the 4 pages of awards in his stats. -

BTW I have a grav gun trick which allows me to catch and instantly return physics by only using the right mouse button. I am not going to tell you how its is done because I am not sure how I do it myself. Confused

It leads to too much confusion as in this case where one person didn't know that he knew the other who also didn't know that he knew the other also. If only they both knew that they knew and that they both knew that the other knew then they would have known not to post about gg catching without prior knowledge. You know?
