Physics kills |

Is it just me or when an opponent is less than 2 feet physic objects pass right through, no hit registered. This could be lag but i usually play server 1 with a ping of about 34.

No Sniperborg it is not just you. It happens to me all the time especially when playing close up in the corner of the killbox.
Most of my kills are with physics and my favorite is the physbox. Its an odd beast in KBH 1 & 2. If you hold the left mouse button down, and run into a wall, holding the box, you pass into the physbox and only stop near the middle. If you are in a tight corner with more than one grav gun grabbing at the box, this does happen.
Under these circumstances, the hit registration is either dead center or not at all with large physics. The box passes trough the opponent or vice versa.
It does not happen every time. One other outcome is that either the box or one of the players flies away.

Another thing since the update. Usually when i start HL2dm the first page comes up with the valve logo page and music, usually i press Esc to quickly by pass this, but now i do Esc i get a almost continous hum. In game i have reset sound keymap if the sound sticks in game, this doesn't work.
Only thing i find is to Alt tab to desktop, Ctrl Alt Del and close any ! process, doesn't matter which one though and end it only then will this humming noise stop. Strange, ty steam

Edit your Startup-Options and add -novid to get rid of the Startup Video.
