the mute is permanent, it will not go away. the 24 hour report is only for false positives. so if you sweared you are out of luck.

permanant? |
|
I know i swore too much, but permanent is harsh, i never knew about this site (refer to my first post) or I wouldve read your WARNING ABOUT THE CHANGES.. obviously now I know, but i wouldnt try to get muted forever if i knew about it
And what about the people who constantly harrass me by laughing at me and taunting me because I cant talk? they arent all swearing, but it is harassment.
Im a player on the server also, my enjoyment is seriously reduced with ppl costantly laughing at me for being muted.
Double Standards?

- All our server's names start by TSGK.com Serv # for all of them and this since 2005. TSGK.com which obviously refer to our site.
- Each 5 minutes the URL of this Forum is spread on all the servers ingame and this 24h/7d since 2005.

The right to freedom of speech is guaranteed under international law through numerous human rights instruments, notably under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, although implementation remains lacking in many countries. The synonymous term freedom of expression is sometimes preferred, since the right is not confined to verbal speech but is understood to protect any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.

What if i go buy another copy of the game and register a different ID, would that work?
Since u guys are uncompromising jerks, I'll have to spend money to talk again. And no, i wont get banned again since i've learned my lesson.
again with the double standards =)

this mutin stuff almost makes me want to not even go on the servers at all for the fear of getting muted. i have a friend who has his servers set up so that it doenst mute the cuss words they just dont show up. i would like to see that in place instead of the permanent stuff. i think we should put this in the motd also, just to warn players who cant keep they mouf on lock. my 2 cents

Yup, be careful coming on, TSGK only care about themselves and friends,
AND they will UN-mute their friends, as already witnessed, but not someone who loves their servers, has put in tons of hours, and didnt even get a warning. I'm still going to play, i've actually gotten better since I dont have time to type anymore =P

Right then.
Let's get one thing straight, if you walked into my house swearing like that I wouldn't just mute you, I'd throw you out the window with a sink plunger up your ass. You come onto a server that is freely provided, abuse other guests and then after getting muted decide to visit the forum for the first time just to moan about it?
What do you think this is - a therapy group for sufferers of tourette's syndrome? Take it like a man and put up.
TSGK is much more reluctant than others to mute, ban, kick or punish in any way anyone. Fact. But when people start leaving a server because some idiot gets a hard-on from swearing then it's time to act.
Any player, member or otherwise has nothing to fear from it. The system is careful. It does not mute everyone that swears, only those that are excessive - really excessive. It does it automatically, there's nothing personal, no decision - go over the limit and you're muted. Get over it.
What I find strange is that people who swear on servers rarely swear on the forum - why's that? Because they know it's not acceptable. There's no MOTD on the forum saying "please do not swear". So how come people think it's ok to talk pigs slurry in real time and in game? Bizarre.
There is one valid point being made above. People might concentrate more on the game. It's about time too.
And while I'm on the subject, would folks please stop whining on our forums about bloody everything. This is TSGK not some kindagarden.

Why should I just give up? the permanent Mute is too harsh.. my play is severely hindered since i cant chat to my team for coordination. forget about the whole swear thing, I dont get off on it. if/when i get my chat back i wont be getting banned agian..
Looks like i'll have to buy another copy of the game while friends of TSGK get free un-muted

Would you go to a restaurant to ask for a car fix, it apply to the Forum as well, you may lack in Taxonomy and that's for why your post has been moved to the right section instead General Discussion which hasn't to be the trash of the forum.
I don't have in memory that a muted player (after the test period) has been un-muted.
The more you will whine, the more the permanent will be extented to very permanent.
Keep respect here please.

You're probably right. But my wife could. She's sometimes called in by the UN to quell minor border conflicts in Africa with her kitchen utensils.
