I've only gone and royally f***ed up my PC. I installed some new registry settings in the hope of fixing a problem I had with not hearing sounds on adobe flash.
My new settings have killed all sound on my PC (including HL2DM). I get a message below when I try to play music from my media player.
WTF! Arrrgghhhh!!!!
Anyone have any idea about how I go about fixing this?

Ah F it.
Believe it or not I had a dream about Osiris last night. He rang me and said that he was upgrading all the servers so that older PCs will not be permitted on them. He said I was the only player with an old PC. I swear to God - I had that dream.
So in light of my dream, my dinosaur of a PC, and my no sounds... I've ordered a new one. Now I have to tell the missus. Wish me luck.

Simple m8. Just tell the wife you had a small win on the euro millions (small)
Buy her a box bunch of flowers on a box of chocs and say you need a new hard drive. 
Keep the old case and put all the goodies in it.
