Some of you want or don't want that (Tyh_TSGK don't want it :p). To disable the bracket arround your crosshair (like show on the picture). Type hud_quickinfo 0 inside your console or use the same procedure as the cl_autowepswitch: http://forum.tsgk.com/viewtopic.php?t=19 To enable the bracket use hud_quickinfo 1.
