So i was making my usual check in Garry.tv and Garry was a real nice guy for putting 4 mods that got released, Un-noticed.. that will grow their comunity Very Happy

now i would like to point out 2 exellent mods:

http://www.jailbreaksource.com/ - Jailbreak has the normal HL2DM gameplay, but the point of the game, is kill your enemies, and they go to jail, if someone in theire team presses a button near the jail, they release them. it depends alot on Teamplay, so dont do as an asshole that got baned, and watched us in prison and not pressing the Release button Razz

The map i played reminded of a semi-destroyed City 17, particulary "Exit 17" from Episode one, without the trains.

You can set up turrets anywhere (Theres 3 deactivated on each spawn point) to activate them, pick them up with the grav gun and set them up anywhere you'd like.

When someone loses the round, you get the pleasure to see them die (i was playing as Rebel, then a helichopper came up and started throwing mines and shooting at the combine, HAHAHA. Each round lasts around 1 or 2 minutes, unless someones camping ;P

http://www.ornetwork.org/decloak/ - Decloack: Source uses the normal HL2DM gameplay, but the rebels can turn theirselves completely invisible at the Combine, BUT, if combine points their flashlights the the rebels they became a bit visible! I Highly recommend PureSlut_TSGK playing this (You cant use weapons while Cloaked, but you can whack them with the crowbar! Very Happy

This mod stimulates awareness, sneakiness, team play, and alot more adjectives that i forgot..

Maxut played with me jailbreak, but using only gravgun and pistol wont get you winning, max..

You have to use SMG and rpg if you want to win fairly Laughing

Lawitz, i think that Jailbreak is a HL2DM mod, try it anyway

It has alot of potential

Just DLed Jail break looked quite good.

But 2 servers!, one was password protected with no players and the other was 200 plus ping with no players Sad

Very well coded indeed! At least, interpolation and lag compression! Grav gun using is not the best, but other guns are very good to use.

Anyway i tried Decloack: Source, and its a very nice mod, i might say

It is boring on big maps if you're on a '1on1'

the idea of the mod is genious, the gameplay needs some tweaks, and maps need to be better designed at Combine and Rebel's favour, to give some balence (Putting the escape point on the middle of the map, closer to the combine, of course.

dc_lockdown is good, but combine stick around their spawn points, so the rest of the map is a bit of a spoil

I think that Jailbreak is a bit better, but theire unfinished so my final veridict will Be when both maps are at least, gamma stages (RC, Release Candidate)
