Hi again
I'd just like to ask a TSGK administrator if I have been handicapped or something.
I'm just asking because I don't seem to get as many points any more.I only seem to average at 55 points per stunstick kill, but I watch people who steal kills (aka only get one half-hearted hit, but kills the enemy because they had low hp) yet still get 100 points.

This isn't only one time and with just one weapon, all my weapons seem to be giving me low points. I've watched some noobish kills get up to 100 points, still I can't seem to get over 60-65... :/
I get the occasional 100 point kills but it's very rare, this is getting quite irritating now. Is it a handicap or is it something wrong with me or my system?

Thanks...

Very Happy

No you're not handicapped. Your rank is 655 which is relatively high. Those below you will score higher when they kill you. Only 654 players are out ther who are above you. You would need to score against these to get high points. The 100s that you got were probably against high ranking players.

I think its a good system: It keeps the best (scoring) players at the top. With the exception of those who exploit it.

I don't think you understood what I meant.

My points are less per kill than others, noob kills (by others) get them like 100 points per kill. I seem to average at 55 now, even with really cool stunstick kills :/.

I'm only rank 600odd now because I've just played for ages. It won't stay that good for long. But that's normal.

the lesser points someone has and the more you have the lesser points you get. what you get is alright because your enemys donīt have as much as you. if you played on serv I you would see that you can get 100 pointers way more often than on any other server.

Score is not based on how good (or noob) a kill is, maybe it should be. But i dont see how that would be possible, as far as a computer is concerned its all maths, quality couldnt come into it, even taking into account kills with 1 hp. And on the other hand some say stick kills are the best, and those are done with low hp. Its all based on human perception. Thus a kill-quality based system could never be agreed on by all.

Along the same lines i was wondering if my Grav gun has less power, the amount of times i have tried to pick up an physic and someone further away seems to take the item. Does it depend on who points at the item first with the gg no matter what distance rather than who's nearest and has the stronger beam from the gg? This really ticks me off when i'm pointing at the object and it flies to someone twice the distance
