8 Bit Fit |
|
I've recently had what I like to call an "8 bit fit" in which I need to play the original NES games. I dug out my old sharp-edged controllers and tooled around in some old school games. I was playing Mario 3 and noticed that the music while you fight the minibosses is pretty awesome. Being the music and gaming nerd that I am, I remixed some of my favorite NES songs into some blistering metal. enjoy!

the song is called "8 Bit Fit", the other one is an original song.
I'm curious to see if anybody can name the other two NES songs that I remixed in.

It's the mario 3 boss music at the beginning.
and then there is contra later on.

Meek Meekle got it first try! But there are three songs, can anyone guess the middle? It's a little more obscure and (hint) was probably originally written by the same guy who wrote the last song (contra - final level).
Thanks to Shimmy for the link!

a guy named Michael Maezawa definitely had something to do with both of the last two songs.
Actually now that I think of it, technically Meek Meekle was correct in saying Mario first and contra second. So I'll give him credit for guessing correctly about all of the songs.
The first song is Mario 3 miniboss level, the second part is from Super C (Super Contra) - boss music, the last is Contra's final level music.

nothing like digging out the old SNES (i was too young to remember the NES) and loading up Supa Mario Kart, I love that game to this day, nothing beats it
Reckon its possible to mod an old SNES controller to work with HL2 lol, I know someone modded a NES controller so it acted like a docking bay for his iPod, and that he could play DOom 2 through his Ipod using the controller, i was gobsmacked
