I wandering why you (server's creators & admins) don't try to make some kind of advertising/promotion agreements with mmmmm any company (Coca Cola, Dell, IBM, Logitech, etc.)?

Just to put an advertising on the walls of killboxes?

For you - you can make money, couse target audience is defined and grows.

For me - I can make a new chapter for my marketing text book Smile

Yeah, for CS:S its still done as i read on several Magazines.

Now the last left places without Advertisement will fall quick i guess - lets just enjoy the left time without offers for every Shit you can think about.

i hate the idea of advertisment in hldm2, everwhere else has been covered with adverts in the world, i dont want it happening online.

I agree with Killa and Samwidge.

I personally wouldn't play a map with advertisements. Actually, if I saw an ad in a map I'd deface it immediately.

It'd be cool to see the tsgk guys get some cash for all of us playing on their servers but not with ads in the maps. I suggest that they put more "tsgk.com" tags in the maps and then whore out the site like it owes them money. I'm sure enough people traffic this site to at least turn around some cash. We are all used to websites with ads but not ads in games.

Why don't make something like Coca-Cola kill box?

To my mind games like HLDM will take a huge part in everyday entertainment.

So, it is really gonna became an advertising space. It will happened for sure. The question is who would make money on it? TSGK or other servers? Who is gonna be first.

At the same time I predict appearance some kind of hardware allowing real running, jumping, moving of gamer's physical body. It is more fun and it is good for health Smile

I agree with you Nerpa its only a Question of time until Advertisement will come in some Way. But i will enjoy every single left day until its time for it. I buy my Stuff for several reasons - but at last because i got annoyed about any Product in the Game.

But i really doubt that any Money would go to the Server Owner. Valve will find a technikal Way to add Advertisement without help (not even agreement) from Communities Site and Server-Owners.

The Advertisement will be added about the Steam-Network directly without any need for them to share the money. As Server Owner you will need to deal with it on your Server or just not host anymore.

It will become Part of the License-Agreement for all and everyone who wont deal with it can stay out in Future. Valve dont give a Shit for the HL² Community in Past (last Update showed once again) because they have no Money to loose - like other Online Games like WoW - where you have to pay monthly and could cancel the contract and monthly payment if needed to punsh them in that way.
