I'm technologically challenged. So I wonder, if you think this is nice? (Especially interested in Shimmy My IT Guru's opinion).

the alienware and the dell are both nice, (and btw, a pc that costs 4k - 5k $ has to be nice! Laughing )
but i think it's much more affordable to buy the components one by one and then u only have to build all the things together.

the only negative thing about this is that u don't have a guarentee if you should mess it up lol^^

it's not difficult to find a very powerful and very expensive computer.

(looks pretty dumb though^^)

But it's a challenge to find a low priced AND powerful pc...

If I have to rate the cases I´d say they look ugly. the hardware may be nice but buying that is like throwing out money out of the window. when you build it yourself you can get it a lot cheaper and you get all you really want (for example that physx card is almost useless with close to none game supporting it). also you have to accept the noise of a hairdryer.

I built my own, and found it to be alot cheaper. It's not hard to do; just make sure everything is compatible. I have found that the best places are newegg.com and tigerdirect.com, but i don't know if they are international. Either way, I recommend anything that is not Dell, compaq, HP, or any other large company that has no reason to care for its customers. Pay extra and buy local. Smile
